Celebrating 40 Years of ICM
Dear ICM Friend,
Forty years ago this year, supported missionaries Phil & Debbie Waker (sent out from Fruitvale/RiverLakes) and Myron and Carol Goodwin (from Franklin, Tenn.) left their missionary work in Israel and landed in the highlands of western Kenya, in the small town of Kitale. Only the Lord knew then what he had in mind and the Fruit that would be born from their work.
Today ICM is in 25 African countries, eight of which have National Directors that lead the ICM mission of equipping and discipling pastors and leaders. We have seven seminary campuses and multiple training sites throughout east and west Africa. Our economic development plan is creating greater in county sustainability and freeing the ministry of dependency from outside resources. ICM strategically fills the gap of discipling so many new believers by equipping and training Pastors and leaders. This is critical to deal with the harmful effects of bad and destructive teaching. Pastors and church leaders are hungry to be trained and that’s what ICM does.
Come join us this October 20th as we celebrate our 40th year Anniversary. The opportunity for effective impact in carrying out the great commission is greater than ever. Come and meet the founders and some of the African National Directors. Come and discover how you can be involved and generously support the ongoing work of ICM as we continue “Building A Legacy.”
Your Fellow Servant,
Dave Champness
President, ICM USA
