Rev Darryl Bowe Vice-President of U.S. Operations Darryl and Kathy met as sophomores at the University of Oregon. After a five year courtship they were married in August 1970 and soon after began their journey in missions by joining the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. They served in its missionary training program, Agape International Training.
In 1997, after 21 years of service with Agape International Training, they joined the staff of International Christian Ministries (ICM). They were instrumental in the launch of ICM's headquarters ministry. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of ICM in America, Darryl appreciates the opportunities he has each year to travel to Africa to teach classes and to work with the national staff on administrative and operational issues.
Darryl and Kathy both have a deep and passionate love for the Sabaot people living on Mount Elgon in Kenya. They have given their hearts and a lot of sweat to seeing a school develop from the ground up as well as teaching and discipling the people. For the past few years they have lead a team every summer to help in the construction of the school.
Darryl has a BA degree in Slavic Language and a Masters Degree in New Testament Theology.
Darryl and Kathy have been blessed with two wonderful adult children, Stacia and Justin.
